Episode 129 – London, England

Late June in London is a wonderful time.  The weather is generally very good, and ours was as well.  Here is the link to our London Air B&B.  I would stay there again.  It does not have air conditioning but does have a washer and dryer.  We saw the Moure Trap at the St. Martin Theater, which is near Liecester Square metro stop.  The pubs by the Thames at Ravens Court Park tube stop were The Dove and The Ship.  They are off the tourist’s beaten path with only locals enjoying them.  Near Trafalgar Square is Gordon’s Wine Bar and Ben Franklin’s house.  Our pub crawl encompassed Ye ‘Ole Chesire Cheese, Ye ‘Ole Mitre, and the Dolphin Tavern.  We ate at a neat Indian restaurant called The India, where you eat underground in the tunnels.  I did a little research on the Dixie Queen ship. It looks like it is only for charters, and not open to the general public.  The pub we enjoyed near our Air B&B was The Kings Head pub.  Get you tickets for a great view of the city at Sky Garden.

If you have been thinking about getting one of these credit cards use my links: Capital One Venture X, Southwest Credit Card, Southwest Business, Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Sapphire Preferred, and the Hyatt Credit Card. If you use my links to sign up for the card I get some points, and again it doesn’t cost you anything to help out the show.  Some of these credit card links do not last long.  If the link doesn’t work please contact me and I can send one to you real time.  Remember, if you are unable to pay your credit cards off on a monthly basis then it is not worth getting these.  Thanks so much!
