Episode 119 – Kilkenny, Kilarney, and the Irish West Coast

Episode 119 – This podcast focuses on Kilkenny, Killarney, and Dingle peninsula.  I have lots of notes to share with you about this episode.  First, my guests County Kilkenny to the Village of Inistioge.  They wanted to see the Inistioge Bridge and the Wisteria House.  There is also some easier hiking at Woodstock Loop Walks.  In the Village of Gowran they stopped and visited St. Mary’s Collegiate Church.  In Killarney they at the Arbutus Hotel.  A couple of places in Killarney that they ate and drank at were Kitty O’Shea’s Seafood Restaurant, Murphy’s Ice Cream Courtney’s Pub, Cronan’s Restaurant, Killarney Brewing, and Buckley’s pub, which was attached to their hotel.  They adventured out to Torc Water Falls in Killarney National Park, which is on the Ring of Kerry.  They also visited Ross Castle.  They went to the Dingle peninsula and drove Slea Head Drive around the Dingle peninsula.  They mentioned the beach called Coumeenoole as a good place to stop and visit.  There last adventure was stopping in the small village of Adare, Ireland and having 1/2 pints at Bill Chawke’s pub before heading back into Dublin.
